Biography
Kana Ide was born in Tokyo, she is an assistant conductor of the NHK Symphony Orchestra from 2025 under Fabio Luisi, with recent visits of Tugan Sokhiev, Charles Dutoit, Herbert Blomstedt and Paavo Järvi.
She was also a regular conductor of the Kyoto City Junior Orchestra from 2024 to 2026. In 2025 summer, she was invited to the final stage of Toscanini Competition in Parma.
Kana Ide majored in violin at Toho Gakuen High School of Music and Toho Gakuen College of Music. she is currently an orchestra conducting student at Tokyo University of the Arts.
She has also studied abroad at the Sibelius Academy and Panula Academy in Helsinki.
She studied violin with Yumino Toyoda, conducting with Shimono Tatsuya, Ken Takaseki, Kazufumi Yamashita and Toshiaki Umeda, and Chamber music with the Tokyo Quartet, Nobuko Yamazaki, and Hamao Fujiwara.
Through auditions, she has attended master classes given by Yuzuko Horigome, Jorma Panula, Numajiri Ryusuke, Tatsuya Shimono, Jolt Naji, and Tomoko Kato.
She has participated in music festivals in Japan and abroad, including the Salzburg Music Festival, Seiji Ozawa Music Academy, Kirishima International Music Festival Kagoshima,
International Music Festival NIPPON, and Trial Concerts for Young Conductors.
Furthermore, she performed conducting with the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Yokohama Sinfonietta and the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra.
KANA IDEE
井手 カナ
東京都出身。桐朋女子高等学校音楽科(男女共学)
並びに桐朋学園大学音楽学部をヴァイオリン科で卒業。
その後、東京藝術大学音楽学部指揮科を経て、
現在はNHK交響楽団アカデミー指揮研究員に在籍。
また国外ではシベリウス音楽院・パヌラアカデミーにて研鑽を積む。
２０２４年度から二年間
京都市ジュニアオーケストラ合奏指導者を務めた。
これまでにヴァイオリンを豊田弓乃氏、
指揮を下野竜也、高関健、山下一史、梅田俊明各氏、
室内楽では東京クヮルテット、山崎伸子、藤原浜雄各氏に師事。
またオーディション等を経て、堀米ゆず子、ヨルマ・パヌラ、
沼尻竜典、ジョルト・ナジ、加藤知子各氏のマスタークラスや
小澤征爾音楽塾、国際音楽祭NIPPON等に参加。
２０２５年十一月九州交響楽団を指揮してデビュー。
これまでに、九州交響楽団、名古屋フィルハーモニー交響楽団、
藝大フィルハーモニア管弦楽団、横浜シンフォニエッタ、
東京女子管弦楽団を指揮する。
２０２５年夏、トスカニーニ国際指揮コンクールの本選に出場、
２０２６年夏、プリンセスアストリッド国際指揮コンクール
本選に出場予定。
